I read in your letter to editor of 21st of June 2008, where a
subscriber of MTN is giving kudos to MTN for giving out free airtime.
The reverse is the case with Globacom.
I wish to express dissatisfaction on the way and manner Globacom treat
their customers, particularly on issues relating to customer to
customer transfer of airtime popularly refer to as me-to you or easy
share.
I transferred a call credit of N2,000 around 9pm on 14th of November
2007 (Last year) to my mum’s number since she cannot load recharge card
number on her phone. The money was deducted from my account and was not
delivered to the number I transferred it to.
Each time I call customer care on the issue, they will tell me “we
sincerely apologize for the inconvenience and it has been forwarded to
the department in charge”
It’s seven (7) months now, and my line is yet to be credited with the
N2,000! If I had used the money for a recharge card business that earns
me N20 profit on a card per day, with 4 - N500 recharge cards, I will
be having 4 x N20 7months x 30days = N16,800 by now.
I’m using this medium to shout out to Glo world to please credit my
line with the N2,000 if they cannot add the interest accrued.
