NigerianNews
takes this opportunity to felicitate with everyone as the year 2008
rolls in. Indeed, Nigeria is a country which God has bestowed with
enough resilience to weather any storm. 2007 was such a
turbulent year which some would have either wished it never existed or
certain events never occurred. All the same, all our experience is
supposed to strengthen us with sufficient energy so that we can witness
the fulfillment of things yet to be revealed to us as a Nation by the
Almighty God.
If we accept good things from God, we must not fail
to be steadfast when bad things happen to us. If we see how God has
held this Nation together in spite of us, we must not fail to be
faithful to Him even under temporary adversity. After all can anything
insipid be eaten without salt? We must in 2008, find the salt we need
in sufficient quantity to remove the unsavory taste left in our mouth
from 2007.
Unfortunately, there are too many vices perpetrated
by our leaders, some of who disguise themselves as Angels of light.
Some of us unsuspecting followers believe these leaders until they are
exposed. We believe them because they lace every
pronouncement with the unceasing mentioning of God. We do
believe them because of the name of God invoke. Why not? We are
humans and not designed to read our neighbor's minds
Those who are lucky and profess not to be that
gullible even suggest your belief in certain leaders is because you
are in the 'egunje' take with these leaders. We understand your
plight. After all, God creates us without a clue on how to read the
mind of a liar. Just leave whoever accuses you wrongly to God, and He
will surely vindicate you.
Some accusers point accusing fingers because they
think everyone is like them. While it is true that most people are
like them, let them know that in 2008, He who is in you, vindicates
you, and He is greater than he who is in the world or even in them.
And in all the events of 2007, please report to
Aondoakaa any evidence you may have of 'egunje' that any one gave to
the
NigerianNews
2007. You can be sure he will oblige you your request if he knows your
accusation is about
NigerianNews!
We hope he who accuses us falsely on our activity of 2007 is
adequately answered by Aondoakaa. Our accuser must also know that God's answer to him is
certain and also in the
offing.
When you report us to Aondoakaa, do not stop at
NigerianNews.
Report all people you suspect as 'egunje' takers
because of what they say or write. Do not take anybody's word for it.
Remember the only good politician, journalist, etc. in Nigeria is he
who has not been caught stealing yet.
We would have been more comfortable any report you
send for investigation goes to Nuhu Ribadu, however, this simple guy
has been silenced and run out of town by those who claim to be the real best friends of
Nigeria. Aondoakaa is the Chief Priest of this group. We just have to
hold our breadth and pray that no lie is ever manufactured against anyone
by the group he heads. His group has mastered obfuscation in its
completeness.
Our worry is that Aondoakaa serves only his
friends. We pray God gives a thorough cleansing to the Nigerians'
Aegean stable in 2008. This is the only way Nigeria can survive as a
nation. Cleansing Nigeria also includes sidelining Aondoakaa!
As you can see, we have decided not to publish any
10 points wishes to you our readers this year! The one we published last
year did not help!! So we commend ALL to the mighty Hands of God/Allah
!
In 2008, remember the parable of the lost Sheep, if
you are privy to it; the Shepherd never stopped looking until the lost
Sheep was found. So was the parable of the lost COIN. The woman kept looking non stop until a
coin that could not communicate unlike the Sheep was found.
These two parables give us the hope that God is not
finished with us as a Country yet, as a matter of fact, He will not
stop searching for us until He finds us - the lost Sheep and the lost
coin! Whether we are in the fold like the lost Sheep or out of fold or
communication like the lost coin, in the fullness of time, the
Good Shepherd will find us - Amen!
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL AND WELCOME YEAR 2008.
