January 24, 2008 Anyone who read our article on the Amaechi vs. Omehia titled The Supreme Court: Supreme in all things but Remedy! will in no doubt notice that our bone of contention with the Supreme Court was never about the conclusion they reached. If your inconsistencies are not embarrassing, we would  have also congratulated you on your undemocratic imposition of Rotimi Amaechi who was never voted for by the people of Rivers State. We were rooting for Gov. Peter Obi here at the NigerianNews at the beginning, middle and the end of this saga, but as patriots, NigerianNews was also worried about the remedy for this serious injustice against an innocent man. June 15, 2007 The Supreme Court by granting Governor Obi of Anambra an extension is expressly stating that the terms of the Nigerian political offices cannot be considered a vector quantity as the value of the office longevity can only be characterized in a scalar term. For those who may want to know, all vector or tensor quantities will retain their values in any assigned frame of reference (either in a covariant or contravariant tensoral transformation). A tensor or vector quantity must have magnitude and direction, because of this, if for example the position of a governor is given a vectoral value of four years, this value will remain same if evaluated in an interstellar space. Of course, like velocity, a vector may be considered not to be an objective vector. Is it not better that other organization but not the officers of the law be the organizers of strike? What happens to the word "sub judice" especially when the officers of the law are the ones violating the principle? In other words, Yar'Adua and Buhari were ELECTED recently by their various party conventions, and then Yar'Adua SELECTED Goodluck Jonathan, while Buhari SELECTED Ume Ezeoke. Is this a paradox?
